Be Still

Today’s message will be short and to the point. I know life for many of us is hard right now. The struggles for us have been almost non-stop since our son’s death in December 2009. But there has been one constant through it all; the faithfulness of our God. No one ever said this life would be easy. In fact, Jesus warned us that in this world we would have trouble (John 16:33). But like the saying goes, God doesn’t give us what we can handle, God helps us handle what we are given. It is during these times of struggle that we MUST, Be still, and know that He is God! Psalm 46:10

My suggestion for anyone going through hard times is to find a place of solitude and get alone with God. I can guarantee you, you spend a couple of hours in God’s presence, you will have a new perspective, a renewed hope, and be strengthened to fight another day. For me, this has become a daily necessity, and has become my most treasured time of the day. What I have learned, and what I most want you to understand is, Christianity is not about religion, it’s about a personal relationship with our God.

Here is a little music to get you started.
